<p>5. What foods do you think should be in everyone&#8217;s daily diet?</p>
<p>If you want to be lean you must eat your veggies!  This is the cornerstone of every diet book and the number 1 rule of every fit body you see.  Other great foods are Oatmeal, blueberries, wild salmon, grass fed beef, free range eggs, and quinoa to name a few.</p>
<p>6. What&#8217;s your favourite healthy food/meal?</p>
<p>I love breakfast!  One of my favorites is an egg white omelette with lots of veggies.  Sushi is my favorite for dinner.  When I am being really good I order Sashimi and one roll without rice.  And when I&#8217;m not being good, I eat the rice.</p>
<p>7. What&#8217;s your favorite naughty/cheat food?</p>
<p>Movie popcorn with peanut M&amp;M&#8217;s mixed in.</p>

<p>8. What exercise should EVERYONE do?</p>
<p>Weight training is the single most important thing you should be doing.  If you are worried about bulking up, then follow a circuit strength program like Red Carpet Ready. The program will ask you to do 3 full body strength workouts and 1-2 cardio sessions per week.</p>
<p>1-2 times per week of yoga is great.  And cardio doesn-t have to be boring.  Go hiking with a friend.  Take up surfing or mountain biking.  I have a couple of clients taking pole dancing and they love it.  Working out takes some effort but it should be fun too!</p>
<p>9. What&#8217;s your favourite workout or exercise?</p>
<p>I love a really great strength circuit.  I want to work hard, get sweaty and feel tired afterwards.  There is nothing better than the buzz you get from a great workout!</p>
<p>I also love yoga.  I don&#8217;t always want to go, but afterwards I&#8217;m glad I did.  For recreation, I surf.  I&#8217;m not very good but I have fun while burning a ton of calories.</p>

<p>10. What do you think is different about your approach?</p>
<p>Unlike 90% of my peers, I understand what a woman means when she says she doesn-t want to get too muscular.  This is a real fear.  I have had countless women come to me over the years frustrated because the program they were on bulked them up or made their quads too big.  Many gave up on weight training all together before finding their way to me.</p>
<p>I believe in weight training but I also believe women can get -too muscular- for what they desire.  I have created very specific programming that will get them toned and fit but still 100% feminine.</p>
<p>I can add curves in the right places while still allowing them to feel small.  Other women want to get really strong and athletic looking.  I applaud that.  I can create that look too (I think it-s easier) but that is not my niche.  My girls want to look Red Carpet Ready!</p>

<p>11. What do you love most about Red Carpet Ready?</p>
<p>That you can get amazing results without spending 2 hours per day in the gym.  I think the program teaches you how to change your behavior. <p>Valerie Waters is a personal trainer to some of the biggest names in Hollywood and has been for over a decade. Her client list over her time as personal trainer looks like the invite list to an Oscars after party including <a href="http://theultimateweightlosssecret.com/blog/how-does-cindy-crawford-get-those-muscles/">Cindy Crawford</a>, Jennifer Garner, Rachel Nichols, Jim Carrey, Poppy Montgomery, Kate Beckinsale, <a href="http://theultimateweightlosssecret.com/blog/jessica-biels-workout-find-out-how-she-gets-that-body/">Jessica Biel</a>, Richard Gere and Lauren Holly.</p>
<p>Valerie&#8217;s developed a program called <a href="http://ultweight.redcarpet1.hop.clickbank.net">Red Carpet Ready </a>through her work with celebrities. Ready Carpet Ready is a 6 week full body transformation incorporating a healthy diet and an easy to use exercise program.</p>
<p>1. How long have you been working a personal trainer?</p>
<p>I have been a personal trainer for 18 years and I still love it!</p>
<p>2. What do you love most about the industry?</p>
<p>I love turning people on to fitness and watching how their self esteem and confidence increases as they become more fit.  I love learning about new fun ways to get and stay fit and then sharing it with my clients.  This is actually a very exciting to be in this business.  The industry has really grown in the last 5-6 years and continues to evolve.</p>

<p>3. What do you love most about working with celebrities specifically?</p>
<p>I love training all kinds of people but celebrities are particularly fun for a couple of reasons.</p>
<p>Usually when I get a call from a celebrity, it is because of an upcoming movie role, photo shoot or red carpet event they-re getting ready for.  This makes them very motivated.  Anytime you have a highly motivated client, you are more likely to see results quickly.  Then of course, other people notice how great they look and you have a walking &#8220;buildboard.&#8221;</p>

<p>This beautiful star rose to fame whilst still in high school on MTV&#8217;s reality show Laguna Beach: The Real OC. A spin off series The Hills has been a HUGE hit and is about to air it&#8217;s fourth season. The Hills features Lauren and pals Whitney, Audrina, Lo and of course arch enemy Heidi as they go through their well unconventional lives in LA!</p>
<p>Lauren has never been large but decided to get her butt into gear last year and tone up for summer. Working with her trainer the star shed 6 pounds and has never looked better.</p>
<p>Read on to find out how Lauren Conrad lost the weight and got THAT body!<span id="more-247"></span></p>

<p>Just because she&#8217;s a star on a hit reality show doesn&#8217;t mean Lauren is free of body worries. She says, &#8216;Like most girls, I-ve always been self-conscious of my body. When you are constantly being photographed, all your flaws get pointed out. I wanted to get in better shape so I could feel more confident&#8217;</p>
<p>So that&#8217;s exactly what Lauren did!</p>
<p><strong>Lauren Conrad&#8217;s Diet</strong></p>
<p>Lauren&#8217;s cute trainer Jarett Del Bene (who also features on The Hills) had the star commit to a 1500 calorie a day diet. Lauren had to fight her love of pasta and instead stock up on lean fish, beans and veggies.</p>
<p>Lauren says, &#8216;I have a hard time eating healthy when we travel a lot. My friends all make fun of me because when we all get back to my apartment at night, everyone wants to order pizza and I make them eat bean bowls.&#8217;</p>
<p><a href="http://mhlnk.com/9B21B95F"><img class="alignleft" style="border-style: initial; border-color: initial; border-image: initial; border-width: 0px; margin: 10px;" src="http://media.markethealth.com/bannerServer.php?type=image&amp;ad_id=3540&amp;aid=157678" alt="" width="180" height="150" border="0" /></a><strong>Here&#8217;s what Lauren&#8217;s eating plan looks like:</strong></p>
<p>Breakfast:</p>
<p>1. Latte with skim milk + Wholegrain waffle with 2 teaspoons peanut butter</p>
<p>2. Latte with skim milk + Oatmeal with skim milk</p>
<p>Lunch:</p>
<p>1. Cobb salad (turkey bacon, egg whites, veggies, avocado and balsamic dressing)</p>
<p>2. Grilled Chicken salad</p>
<p>3. Tuna with light Feta on green salad</p>
<p>Dinner:</p>
<p>1. 4 to 6 oz Fish Fillet with salad or roast veges</p>
<p>2. 4 to 6 oz Chicken Breast with salad or roast veges</p>
<p>Snacks:</p>
<p>1. 1/2 cup Low Fat Cottage Cheese + 10 Almonds</p>
<p>2. Low Fat Yoghurt + 7 Walnuts</p>

To counter-act her taco and pizza cravings Lauren makes a taco salad without the tortilla and instead of making sandwiches she replaces the bread with lettuce leaves.</p>
<p>Lauren also has one day a week where she can eat what she likes saying, &#8216;It-s important to cheat once a week.&#8217; And while she might miss the pasta the star says, &#8216;When I work out regularly and eat healthy, I feel better.&#8217;</p>
<p><strong>Lauren Conrad&#8217;s Workout</strong></p>
<p>As I said earlier Lauren works out with trainer Jarett and he devised a great program for her that burned fat and toned her already slim body.</p>
<p>Surprisingly Lauren only works with Jarett TWICE a week and the workout involves lunges, squats, push ups, pull ups, free weight work, hitting the treadmill and some kick boxing routines.</p>
<p>Lauren says, &#8216;Jarett has me do a lot of reps with smaller weights because he-s not trying to build muscle so much as get my body toned.&#8217;</p>
<p>In an interview Jarett added, &#8216;Lauren really wanted to tone her arms and legs &#8211; she was happy with what she had, but she wanted to take it to the next level.&#8217;</p>
<p>Other than hitting the gym Lauren enjoys frequent 45 minute hikes at Runyon Canyon. The star says, &#8216;I love waking up early and<br />
going on an hour hike. It-s the perfect start to my day.&#8217;</p>
<p>Lauren can also be seen jogging with pal Lo and puppy Chloe around their Hollywood Hills house.</p>
